This weekend we start the tracking for the Stinging Nettles record. Stinging Nettles is John Heubner, Marshall Fischer, and myself. We plan to track somewhere around 15-18 songs to narrow down to a full length record. This will be my first tracking session with the new console in the new room. The last few days have been spent wiring everything up, moving stuff, and getting ready. Tonight we’ll be tuning the drums and placing the microphones to capture the luxurious sounds over a whirlwind weekend of sonic bliss. Indeed. More pics and geeky stories of microphone placement to follow.

As I’m trying to work out the bugs with the new site I’ve noticed that the sidebar to the right drops down in IE6. If you search ye ol internets for that statement you’ll find a bevy of frustrated web designers trying to figure out how to make the site look good in Internet Explorer. In my opinion, your best option is to download Firefox and see the web as it was intended.

Bear with me as I update the site to the new format. Although I still do a small amount of web design for clients, I am very green when it comes to any type of CMS (Content Management Systems) and this is the first time I’ve fully implemented WordPress into any site. So, I’ll be doing my best to keep things updated and trying to figure out all the bells and whistles. It has at least re-piqued (that is definitely not a word) my interest in web design and thankfully there is a fair amount of CSS involved. I do love me some CSS.
